Lee and Estelle Schuster lived a life rooted in faith, generosity, and deep commitment to their community. As long-time parishioners of St. John’s Catholic Church in Beloit, they believed in the power of the Catholic faith in education and supported it wholeheartedly, not just in words, but through years of quiet involvement and steadfast care.
Now, their devotion lives on through the Lee and Estelle Schuster Fund, a designated fund established with the Solomon Valley Community Foundation to provide long-term financial support to St. John’s Catholic School. This lasting gift was thoughtfully planned as part of their estate and carried out after their passing, a reflection of their desire to leave a meaningful legacy for future generations.
“We are blessed to have a legacy family like the Schusters,” said St. John’s Principal, Marcy Kee. “Lee and Estelle were great supporters of St. John’s Catholic School. They realized it takes hard work and commitment for our school to grow and flourish. We are grateful for their generous gift, and we want to thank the Schuster family for their continued support.”
Designated funds like this one offer donors a unique way to make a lasting impact. By directing support to a specific organization, donors can ensure that their values continue to be lived out in the community year after year.
Julia Rabe, Executive Director of SVCF, shared, “We are honored to help carry on the legacy of Lee and Estelle Schuster through this fund and excited about the ongoing impact it will have for St. John’s Catholic School.”
The Schuster’s gift is more than financial; it’s a reflection of a life well-lived, a legacy thoughtfully planned, and a commitment to the future of Catholic education in our region.
