Solomon Valley Administrative Fund

The SVCF Administrative Fund supports the ongoing operations and long-term sustainability of the Solomon Valley Community Foundation. Gifts to this fund help ensure the Foundation can continue its mission of serving the Solomon Valley region with excellence, providing vital resources, leadership, and support to our communities.

St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Beloit Kansas Seminary Designated Fund

Field of Interest Funds

Beloit Booster Club

The purpose of the Beloit Booster Club is to support Beloit Jr. High and High School athletic programs by providing parental leadership to all team members and coaches, providing financial leadership through fundraising efforts, promotions and events, and displaying and encouraging good sportsmanship.

Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund

Eugene Schmitt Tipton Youth Sports Fund

Solomon Valley Disaster Relief Fund

This fund was established to support the Solomon Valley region and its citizens during a designated crisis or disaster, whether man-made or otherwise.

The Broadbent Cemetery Fund

This fund was established in honor of Caroldon Broadbent, for rural cemeteries in Mitchell County for maintenance and improvements.

The Pleasant View Community Fund

The Pleasant View Community Fund was established to provide support, assistance, and direction to individuals and families in the Mitchell County area who are disabled, financially disadvantaged, or experiencing crisis in their lives, in order to provide Christian assistance as it may be needed. By contributing to this fund, donors help sustain and support this mission.

Todd Tuttle Endowment Fund for Arts and Science

This fund was established with the goal of fostering an active role in the fields of science and the arts in the area. Possible initiatives may include internships and mentorship opportunities in astronomy, financial assistance for local classrooms to support education in these fields, and more.

Breast Friends Foundation Fund

The Breast Friends Foundation is very passionate about helping others diagnosed with cancer. Our mission is "NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE". By contributing to this fund, donors are able to help sustain and support Breast Friends' mission for years to come.

Catholic Charities of Northern Kansas Solomon Valley Fund

Guided by God's love, our mission is to provide compassionate service to all people in need throughout Northern Kansas. Through this fund, donors can contribute to the lasting success of Catholic Charities and its work in Mitchell County.

Chautauqua Isle of Lights Fund

Chautauqua Isle of Lights is a group of volunteer members who work together to create an incredible Christmas Light Display for our community and visitors every Christmas season in Beloit. Each light display has been purchased by local businesses, individuals, and organizations. Through this fund, donors can contribute to the lasting success of the Isle of Lights.

First Christian Church of Beloit Fund

First Christian Church is an ordinary group of loved and forgiven sinners set free to be children of God and saints who follow Jesus Christ. We seek to make disciples of lost sinners for Christ by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to grow disciples in becoming those who joyfully obey all of Jesus’ commands to love God and all people. By contributing to this fund, donors help provide support and sustainability to the Church's mission.

Fort Hays Tech | North Central Foundation- Solomon Valley

The Fort Hays Tech | North Central Foundation helps the College acquire and manage financial contributions, gifts, and grants to preserve the unique educational experience Fort Hays Tech | NC provides.

Glen Elder Friends Church Endowment Fund

Glen Elder Friends Church, with guidance from the Holy Spirit, shall provide for Christ-centered Spiritual growth through Prayer, Worship, Fellowship, Evangelism, and Service. Through this fund, donors can contribute to the lasting success of Glen Elder Friends Church.

Heart Choices of Beloit Fund

Heart Choices, Inc. is a Christ-centered facility that provides counseling and support services to women and men experiencing unintended pregnancies, helping them to better understand their options and receive the help they need. This endowment fund allows donors to contribute to the lasting success of Heart Choices and their mission.

Leadership Mitchell County, Inc. Fund

Leadership Mitchell County is dedicated to the development of future county leaders, helping to ensure the future viability of civic, religious, governmental, and youth organizations in the county. By contributing to this fund, donors help sustain LMC's mission and work for years to come.

Mitchell County Communities That Care, Inc.- Summer Kids Cafe Fund

SKC is a coalition of community members who want to build relationships, provide FREE, healthy, and kid-friendly meals through the summer, and organize summer-based educational opportunities in a safe, inclusive environment for ALL KIDS. Through this fund, donors can contribute to the lasting success and sustainability of SKC and it's mission.

Mitchell County Historical Society Fund

The Historical Society oversees the collection of history for Mitchell County, the operation of the museum, and other historical programming to benefit the residents of the area. The Museum has been provided through the interest, goodwill, cooperation, and generous donations of the people of Mitchell County to preserve their "Heritage" for the present and future generations. Through this fund, donors can contribute to the lasting success of the Historical Society and the work it does.

NCK Wellness Center Fund

The mission of the NCK Wellness Center, Inc. is to provide a supportive environment for improving the health of our members and access to equipment, classes, and training to achieve their goals. Through this fund, donors can contribute to the lasting success of the NCK Wellness Center and its mission.

Solomon Valley Cinema Fund

The Solomon Valley Cinema is a community Cinema that was built by donations and countless volunteer laborers, to provide enjoyable entertainment to the community and region. Through this fund, donors can contribute to the lasting success and sustainability of the cinema.

St. John's Teacher Subsidiary Fund

This fund provides support for the teachers of St. John's Catholic School. Through this fund, donors can contribute to the lasting success of the St. John's Catholic School.

Tipton Community Foundation Fund

The Tipton Community Foundation was founded in 2023 to provide funds to enrich the quality of life for all residents of Tipton, today and into the future. Through this fund, donors can contribute to the lasting success of the Tipton Community Foundation and its work within the Tipton community.

Waconda Cultural Association Fund

The Waconda Cultural Association was created to preserve history and educate the public on the Waconda Springs history and the Waconda Lake and Dam. This fund was created to support and sustain this mission while allowing donors to contribute to its lasting success.

Provisional (Project) Funds

Provisional funds serve as a short-term vehicle to collect charitable donations for a community project, such as a public-private partnership. 

Community Commons Provisional Fund

The Community Commons Provisional Fund allows donors the opportunity to support the development of the Community Commons building. Community Commons aims to bring the Mitchell County Food Pantry, Beloit Senior Center, and Auxiliary Economy Shop under one roof. By consolidating resources and fostering collaboration, Community Commons will revolutionize the way Mitchell County serves its residents.

Willow Springs Courtyard Development Fund

The Willow Springs Courtyard Development fund allows donors the opportunity to support the development of Willow Springs Courtyard. This project is comprised of a volunteer committee that was awarded the DREAM BIG grant to develop an empty lot in Downtown Beloit into a gathering space for the community with outside eating, a water feature, and public restrooms.

Scholarship Funds

Scholarship funds support student education and impact our future leaders. We offer two different scholarship fund options for donors based on their interests and budget. Designated Scholarship Funds partner with schools and other nonprofits to facilitate the process, whereas the Community Foundation manages the process, start to finish, for Traditional Scholarship Funds.  Download our Scholarship Fund Fact sheet here.

Community Impact Fund for Solomon Valley

The Community Impact Fund is an unrestricted grant fund that was established to benefit the residents and nonprofit organizations of Mitchell County and is directed by the SVCF Board of Advisors. By contributing to this fund, donors help sustain and provide flexibility to the work the board of SVCF is doing.
